Dr. Robin Tattersall O.B.E., F.R.C.S.I.

Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon

Born in Manchester, England, Robin Tattersall sailed to the British Virgin Islands in 1965 with his young family to take up the post of Government Surgeon. Whilst qualifying, a brief but spectacular career as a top male model on the front pages of Vogue and Harpers & Queen made him a household face in the mid-1950s. In 1973 he founded the Bougainvillea Clinic, unique throughout the Caribbean. An accomplished sailor and sportsman, he has represented the BVI at two Olympic Games and is now an International Judge for the International Yacht Racing Union.

Robin Tattersall fits a variety of interests and memberships into his busy surgical schedule, including the NYYC, the RTYC, the Pan American Yachting Organisation and Rotary. Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Cambridge University, Cambridge and St. George's Hospital Medical School, London.1957 - 1965, Post-Graduate Surgical Training in General Plastic Surgery at St. George's Hospital, London, and Westminster Hospital and associated Hospitals, London.
