Dr. Christy Daniel

Urologist (Surgeon for Kidneys, Bladder and Prostate)

Dr. Christy Daniel obtained his undergraduate degree, MBBS, from the University of the West Indies in 1987. Post graduate general surgical training was in the UK where he got his FRCS in 1994. He then further specialized in Urology completing a Diploma in Urology 1997 and obtained FRCS(Urology) certification in 1999.

Dr. Daniel then worked a Locum consultant in Urology at Sunderland Royal Hospital in England before returning to his homeland St. Lucia to develop a busy Urology practice there. He also practices urologic surgery in Barbados and in Trinidad. In the latter he primarily performs Brachytherapy (seed implant radiation therapy) for cancer of the prostate.

On each visit to BVI, Dr. Daniel holds clinic at Eureka and perform urologic surgery at Bougainvillea Clinic. . Office Procedures include Cystoscopy, Prostate biopsy and Urodynamic /urine flow studies, etc. Operative procedures include Radical Prostatectomy for cancer of the Prostate, Transurethral Prostatectomy for BPH, Kidney stone operations and other surgery for kidney, bladder and Testicle, Urethra and external genitalia related problems.

Patients can now have any necessary Urologic surgery performed right here in the BVI rather than having to go off-island for it.
